Discourse Blog
2020-Present
In March 2020, I co-founded a website called Discourse Blog, where I’ve honed my skills for visuals, branding, and marketing to create a full-fledged politics and culture site. I design editorial art for myself and other writers, working with them to bring their visions to life. I’ve also design the banner art for various reporting series, creating a cohesive style across the entire project. With the feedback of our marketing team, I also create branded promotional graphics evoking seasonal themes, and design graphics for our website, newsletter, Twitter, Instagram, and Twitch.
Take Care, Texas!
2022-2024
As a communications manager at UTHealth Houston’s School of Public Health, I managed the brand campaigns and designed materials for three federal grant projects aimed to mitigate COVID-19 in Texas. Throughout this role, I strategized communication solutions to convoluted federal health guidelines, turning them into compelling, easy-to-follow materials that cut through the confusion of the pandemic. I also managed a small social media team that designed and wrote copy for six social media accounts.
